Sunday

So, my Christmas/new year’s party was last night. It was more of a get together than a party. Only 6 people could come. Tabitha, Hannah, Rhonda, Paula, Ashley, and Kyle. I had fun though. We all got here and played apples to apples – kind of a slow game. We kept trying to call Aaron, but nobody was answering so after a little while me, Paula and Rhonda walked over there. The dad was outside, and I asked if Aaron was home. He’s like, “They’re inside.” (Tori’s car was in the driveway) so we go up to the door and knock. And his dad says we can just go in and make a lot of noise. So, I open the door and we come in. I say hello. But it wasn’t loud enough. Paula and Rhonda yelled Aaron! At the same time, we thought they were in the basement so we were really yelling down the stairs, but they came in through the kitchen (I’m guessing) and Aaron’s hair was all messy and I could tell Tori had just put her shirt back on. They seemed surprised to see us. They’re like, “Hi,” Tori said hi to me. I felt like a little kid, I’m like, “Do you want to come over to play apples to apples?” they said they’d be over in 20 minutes. And they never showed up. Shocker! So, we played guitar hero and DDR. Heavy with four people. It was sweet! We ate dinner (lasagna) oh and Ashley left like right before dinner. We watched the house bunny and Jeff Dunham. Hung out for a bit and then Kyle left at 11. We stayed up til 3 talking and laughing. Paula left at 9. And the other three left at noon. And I just was bored for the rest of the day. Yep!

Present day me: This is the first time I’m remembering this moment of going into Aaron’s house. I could not believe this happened until I read this entry twice. Hah.

Friday

Night before my party! So excited! This past Christmas was kind of lame. Christmas Eve mom and dad had stuff to do so us three cleaned the house and did laundry. That night we went to church. LAME and BORING! Christmas day we opened presents from Santa and then came up to the lake. And I’ve been working on my friends’ Christmas presents since we got up here. I still have one more to do, but she’s not coming tomorrow so I’m going to do it later. Meryl and I went to the grocery store to get food for tomorrow. Yep, that was my day. And I have a cold, yay! Right before we got to Mexico. Grr!

Well, I’m going to read New Moon and sleep.

Present day me: I wanted to include this entry because it was a memory of one of our Christmases. I bet my parents had to buy the gifts from Santa on Christmas eve, that’s why they were busy and we had to do chores. Sheesh.

Tuesday

Today was the last day of school before Christmas break! Pretty normal day. Got lots of cookies and candy from people and some pretty awesome presents! 😊

Andrea had a Christmas party also. It was a lot of fun! I took pictures and a video. I drove Tabitha to and from there. We had fun singing on the way back. We ate mini wieners there, watched Elf and just hung out. Devin and I shared a piece of Patrick’s birthday cake. Hehe. And yeah. I think a bunch of people can come to my party on Saturday which I am so excited for!! And I am so tired now so ttyl!

Present day me: I remember this was a fun time. Everyone was dressed up in their nice dresses and suits. Great way to celebrate Christmas with friends.

Last night was Maddy’s Christmas party. It was a lot of fun! I picked up Hannah from Kyle’s house – he has a really nice house! And then we went to Maddy’s. We all danced, took pictures, talked, did white elephant gifts. I got this really cool pink spikey ball. Someone brought thongs. Oh! And there was mistletoe, Maddy and Harry kissed! Aww! I took Delia home after and then Hannah’s mom picked her up here. I stayed up til 2 uploading pics. Hehe. Today I decorated cookies! Yum! AND I’m having a party on the 27^th!!!

So excited!!

Friday 10:28pm

Sick yesterday only went to school three days this week!

So, after school today I had a girls night out with Hannah! I drove to her house, picked her up and we ate dinner at Coldstone! Then got drinks at Panera. We visited the mall for a bit and then went to the school for the improv show. It was so funny! Then I drove her and I back home. We uploaded pictures and she left. I had an awesome night! She’s my first friend that I’ve driven with! Whoo!! Yeah, so I had a lot of fun tonight. We jammed out to the radio.

I’m going to go to bed. I have band practice tomorrow. Yawn. Oh! And St. nick comes tonight!

Present day me: This was a fun time with Hannah. We went to the mall and bought more candy to get hyper on. Oh, those were the times….before responsibilities and you could just have a great night eating candy with your friends and singing loud to the radio.

I GOT MY LICENSE!!!!

I passed my test this morning! Last night I stayed at Hannah’s with Tabitha. It was a ton of fun! We talked a lot, watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and had Ice cream and hot chocolate. We even prayed together. We sang Hannah Montana songs and just were really hyper. I couldn’t pick up Tabitha today to take her somewhere because I’m not on the car insurance yet. Grr! But I got to drive by myself from dad’s office to home and from the car fixer to his office. And I picked up Meryl from church. I’m SO happy I passed!!! Now I just need a job and I can do whatever I want!

Saturday

These past few days were Thanksgiving break. It was alright. We went down to Oma and Opa’s on Wednesday. We just arrived and hung out and went to bed. The next day was thanksgiving. Meryl, Eddie and I went swimming and we had dinner. It was really good. There was only 8 of us. We went for a walk and hung out again. Mom, dad and Eddie went to the Phillips that night. Meryl and I stayed because Opa was taking us to the mall and Oma picked us up. So, we went to the mall on Black Friday. Wasn’t very busy. I got a new sweatshirt from Aeropostale, we got a twilight shirt and Queen shirt. Colorful mascara, aviators! Yeah, Oma took us to the Phillips, and we just hung out there. Us four girls were there most of the day together and we all got along, and it was good.

Then we left this morning, got home, unpacked, and went to rent a movie.

Present day me: I was so lucky to have grandparents with a house that had an indoor pool. It was great to be able to go swimming to get away from all of the adults. I also find it so crazy that a mall on black Friday in 2008 wasn’t that busy….

This past Friday I went to see Twilight with Hannah! It was a lot of fun. Good movie! Edward got hotter through out the movie. But I don’t think Kristin Stewart did that great of a job. She wasn’t really enthusiastic as Bella. But it was good, I want to watch it again! Saturday morning I had my last drive time, and it went well! And I babysat last night and made $30! Today stayed home, finished scrapbooking my pictures from summer, cleaned out the car, and chilled out. That’s pretty much it.

Present day me: Yes, I loved Twilight and all the movies and all of the books. Read the books twice I think. I don’t plan to read them as an adult. As of now, anyway.

Sunday

Just got done watching Jeff Dunham’s Christmas Special which was pretty funny. Not as good as his others. So today I hung out with David. Which I now know that I don’t like him as much as he likes me. We met at the mall. Hannah and I were sitting in the café court and he like comes out of nowhere and sits by us. We talk for a bit. I can tell he was really nervous. I was a little bit too. We just walked around the mall, Grace and Maddy showed up for a bit. While we were walking around it was kind of awkward because he was either walking in front of us or behind. I was just shy…jeez. I hate that about myself. But Maddy and Grace left, and it was a little bit better. Hannah and I and him went to Deb and tried on these dresses for him. Mine was black, it looked So good. And we just hung out and talked. It was an alright day.

Present day me: This was the first and only time I ever spent with David in person. We connected while at a summer camp when I was in middle school. He left me a note on my seat in the cafeteria. We talked on the phone and on aim for months and then broke up. We never saw each other in person until this time when we were older and not going out anymore. We were getting along on the phone, but ultimately, I wasn’t physically attracted to him. I didn’t want to waste any more of his time after seeing him, so I let him know the same day. I do still remember calling him after seeing him and letting him know. I had to call his home phone, and his mom answered, and I remember feeling so bad about having to tell him. I wanted to be truthful though. I knew I deserved to be with someone who didn’t live a couple hours away too. So good to know for sure!

So, today was a normal Tuesday at school. This morning Rhonda, Tabitha and Shayla and I were walking around school and Rhonda’s backpack mysteriously became unzipped. So, she was yelling at us, “Zip it up! Zip it up!” It was really funny because then I said, “that’s what she said.” Haha.

AND last night I talked on the phone with David for like an hour. He asked me “What is one thing that you’d change about yourself?” I said I didn’t want to tell him. He kept begging me, so I gave him some clues: I would never have the money to do it, or the guts so he’s like, “it’s a physical change,” I’m like, yes. He said, “how can I say this…does it have to do with fruit?” haha yeah. I’m like “Yeah….” Then he said, “do you want to change melons into grapefruits?” YES! HE FRICKEN GUESSED IT! He knows me wayyyy too well. He’s like, “why?” I’m like, “Because…” “Why? They’re a part of who you are.” I’m like, “They get in the way.” Haha yeah.

Later he told me girls who have braces have good D.S.L. yeah. Most of my friends and I have had braces, which is pretty funny. So, I told Rhonda and Tabitha about DSL, Tabitha got it right away and it took Rhonda a little bit. I ended up telling her. So, Rhonda told Brandon about D.S.L. and the melons, grapefruit thing. And I told a bunch of people about the D.S.L. which I think is pretty funny. OH! AND I might be getting a job at Sonic!

Present day me: D.S.L. meant dick sucking lips. I was a sucker for dirty/sexual things like that. Knowing of this new acronym was like treasure to my mind.
