Saturday

Went to work for 8 hours. Had breaks with Georgia. Saw Hunter and Eric. Kyle got there at 5 and I left at 5:15. So I went out to eat for dinner with Delia and then we went to see The Ugly Truth – rated R!! It was good and made a lot of dirty jokes. Then we visited Devin and Brad and played rock band. Saturday – at the cabin

So last night I went to work, ended up being me, Shelby and Jake closing. Both Andrea and Derek called in sick so I couldn’t hang out with him after work. We ended up getting out at 10. But I hung out with Eric and Taylor at the park. It wasn’t really fun, just good to get out. Eric walked me to the van before I left and we hugged. I don’t know what his feelings are for me, he always says hi to me at work and stuff. I’d say we’re just good friends and today I came up to the cabin with Meryl. I will hopefully go back into town for night games with everyone, so yeah. I’m going to have to start a new journal soon. There is only one page left. Wow. And I’d have to say this journal has some juicy stuff in it! My summer of rebellion! Sweet!! That’s it for now.

Wednesday

Hung out with Derek after work. I said I was at Kayla’s playing night games. We went into the woods at the park with the jump. Monday

Worked from 5 til close. I worked in donations for most of my shift with Eric and Derek. It was pretty fun. 11:58pm Friday

Went to work 4:30 til close. Closed with Shelby, Jake, Derek and Mildred. Got out 10 minutes late. Came home to an empty house. Then decided to meet up with Derek. We went to the park. Thursday

Monday: met up with Derek after work at the park after Hunter called me after work. It was a pointless conversation. He wants to keep in touch and maybe later in life we could try out a relationship. I agreed to that, but it probably won’t happen just because of his personality. He also said that if I meet a guy that I want to be serious with then I should discuss it with him. (WHAT THE FUCK?) and he’d do the same for me. Uhm, so I just agreed with him and told him he could call me today, and he did but I didn’t answer. Ha! So anyway, I hung out with Derek for a bit and we talked about Hunter and he walked me almost home. We hugged like four times and then he like text sex that night. Tuesday: hung out with Delia. We went to Starbucks for her and then Sonic for me. And then to the soccer park with Brad, Devin and Craig. We ended up sitting and talking instead of playing frisbeee. Then we went to Bdubs with Kayla, Oscar and Sara. It was good! After that Delia and I went to her house to watch 10 Things I Hate About You and then came back to my house and went to bed. Today: Got up around 9. Texted with Derek. He had the house to himself today. So I took Tabitha home, came home, showered and then said I was walking up to Tabitha’s but I was really at Derek’s. Wednesday

Hung out with Derek this morning for about an hour at the park. Came home, had a truck full of guys pass me and one of them called out, “What’s up, Beautiful?” very flattering and then Derek was texting me saying I looked good today. So later Hunter called me and we got together by the river, it was good. We talked about work, and how everyone there knows about us. Monday

This past weekend we went to Minnesota for Eddie’s baseball tourney. We watched one of his games and then Meryl, mom and I went to Mall of America. It was okay. I got some things from Bath & Body Works and some clothes from Delia’s. We went to Uncle Ron’s house and had dinner and stayed the night.

The next morning we watched his game, they lost so they didn’t have to play anymore. I went home with Dad and Eddie. Got home, called Rhonda and walked around the neighborhood for like an hour talking to her. Then I called Hunter and talked to him for two hours, then my phone died.

I got home and really wanted to hang out with someone so I asked Derek if he’d want to meet at the park, so we did. I told my parents I was walking around the neighborhood and met up with some people from school at the park but really I was walking all over the city with Derek. We walked to different parks and then downtown. He gave me a piggyback ride over two dirt patches in the road construction and carried me bridal style over another. We hugged when we parted. It was fun. He’s dirty, but easy to talk to. Today I went to work with Hunter. We had lunch break together, but we didn’t talk because the team leader and like eight other people were in the room. So yeah. He ended up getting done at 4:30 and then waiting for me til 5 when I got off. We went to Delia’s house to check on her cat. I told my mom I was going to Brad’s to play rock band. Then Hunter and I went to Arby’s and ate down by the river. We ended up sitting there until 11 talking about everything. We even talked about him and I in a relationship. He said he’d probably have to meet my parents to let this work and I’m thinking I agree, but they could still not like him. Soo yeah, we obviously like each other and it’s good. We hugged when we departed. 😊 and yeah, I told him about night games, maybe I’ll get some together tomorrow night and invite him. It could be fun, if I get cold, he could warm me up and of course we’d be partners so hello! We’d hold hands! Hehe, so I guess I’ll text with Derek. Today, came home from the cabin. Hung out with Derek from work. Went to work, saw Hunter for like a second. And talked to him on the phone for about an hour after work. 😊 it was the best phone conversation we’ve ever had. 😊 and we’re going to hang out tomorrow! After he’s done with work around 4. So I’m not sure what we’re going to do, he’s going to pick me up and I guess we’ll go from there. So when I hung out with Derek we went to the park and talked and then back to his house. He has a really nice house! Saw his room – not bad and saw his mom. She seemed kind of excited he had a girl over and asked if we were dating, nope. I don’t like Derek, just friends. Sat outside his house while him and his friends smoked weed. Thank god I didn’t smell like it when I came home. Well, that’s it for now.

Tuesday 10:17pm

Today I rode my bike down to the dog hut to meet Paula. She showed up and we walked over to the park. While we were walking, we heard a band playing, so when we arrived we walked over to the football field to see the concert band of my high school! So, I got to see Hannah, Bridget, Jessica and Erin. Then Paula and I went over by the big slides. We hung out at the playground for a bit. Then walked next to the lake looking for a place to dip our feet. We found one after a while then walked back to her house. We made peanut butter sandwiches with m&m’s and some mountain dew. Then we walked over to the middle school. We sat inside of door 1 and ate and talked for a while. Then we saw the principal get out of his car to come inside so we left. Got back to her house, watched Wayne’s World and then I left.

While we were walking back from the school we were talking about food and earlier I tried pickles dipped in mustard. So combined it’d be pustard!

Present day me: lol, pustard. This is a cathartic memory where I was spending one on one time with a friend who went to a different high school than me. I’m really grateful for the friendship we continued with after middle school for a few years.
